Baritone Errik Hood continues to gain recognition in the operatic and concert realms for his musicality, warm baritone voice, and comfort on the stage.
With excellent musicianship and magnetic stage presence, Errik is equally comfortable in Opera, Operetta, Musical Theatre, Oratorio, and Art Song. He employs dramatically and musically sensitive interpretation of music ranging from the Baroque to the Modern Era.
Dr. Errik Hood currently works on the faculty of NYU Steinhardt as a Music Assistant Professor of Voice Performance. As a teacher, he has been mentored by some of the foremost experts in vocal pedagogy, voice science, and motor learning theory, and has been highly sought after as a crossover voice specialist at universities and professional conferences all over the country.

Dr. Errik Hood holds a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the Ohio State University, a Master of Music Degree from the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Music from Wright State University. He currently serves on the faculty of NYU Steinhardt, is a member of NATS, and maintains a private voice studio in New York City.
