Work with Dr. Errik Hood

 

Dr. Errik M. Hood is Music Assistant Professor of Voice Performance at NYU Steinhardt, where he works with undergraduate and graduate students in Music Theater, Classical, and Contemporary Commercial vocal styles. 

Dr. Hood has been mentored by some of the foremost experts in vocal pedagogy, voice science, and motor learning theory, and has been highly sought after as a crossover voice specialist at universities and professional conferences all over the country.  Dr. Hood's students have gone on to major graduate programs, young artist programs, and regional performance careers. 

In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Hood maintains a private studio in New York City of students, varying in age and experience levels: from teens to current music and theater industry professionals, where his focus is helping all students, regardless of current ability, find their most authentic, efficient, and beautiful sound.  Dr. Hood is currently accepting students to his private studio, please contact him for prices and availability.
